He has worked for leading companies such as ConAgra Foods, Delphi Corporation, GAP, Gateway Computers, GE Capital, Johnson & Johnson, Kellogg’s, Kraft Foods, Lehman Brothers, Nationwide Insurance, Overnite Transportation, Oxford Health Plans, Pfizer, SwissAir, Tiffany & Co., and Unilever.

Before founding Ernst Communications Group, Charles held senior management positions at Johnson & Johnson, Hill and Knowlton, and Burson-Marsteller. He is also an ASCAP music composer.
