Heather Black, Ph.D.
VP Research & Consulting

Heather's background in public relations, research and graphic design combines with her love of strategic problem-solving to allow her to tackle a wide range of complex business and communications problems for Spring clients. With more than ten years experience in the healthcare, non-profit, association and corporate sectors, Heather is at home and able to help clients achieve their goals in almost any setting.

As Senior Director at Spring, Heather is responsible for numerous aspects of project management from conceptualization to data collection, analysis, communications and consulting for such industries as healthcare, consumer goods, education, and public policy. In addition to working in employee-focused and public policy research, Heather specializes in working for clients in the healthcare and aging fields.

Heather's Ph.D. is in Mass Communications, with an emphasis in health services management and research, from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University. In her spare time, she is restoring an 80 year old house and tries to squeeze in visits with her brother in Hollywood, CA and family in Hershey, PA.
